GUGLIELMO MARCONI AWARD

L'Associazione Radioamatori Italiani istituisce il Diploma Guglielmo Marconi, per commemorare e valorizzare l'opera del grande scienziato.Questo diploma celebra gli esperimenti più significativi documentatamente effettuati da Marconi in varie parti del mondo.

Il diploma sarà gratuitamente rilasciato a chi dimostrerà di avere collegato (o ascoltato) le località dalle quali Marconi effettuò tali esperimenti.Per ottenerlo è necessario spedire alla Sezione ARI di Bologna, un log contenente tutti i dettagli dei QSO, o dei rapporti d'ascolto e inoltre: 40 QSL delle località menzionate, oppure 35 QSL delle località menzionate più la QSL ufficiale della stazione commemorativa IY4FGM e un'altra delle altre stazioni commemorative, per un totale di 37 cartoline.

Sul log occorre specificare, in un modo ben evidente, la città, a regione o la località di cui trattasi. Per il ritorno delle cartoline, basta allegare il necessario per le spese di ritorno postale, in caso contrario le cartoline saranno rimandate al mittente via bureau.

Il diploma può essere ottenuto nei seguenti modi d'emissione:

SSB, CW, RTTY, SSTV e misto.

Non esistono limitazioni per quello che riguarda le bande da usare (naturalmente solo quelle a noi attribuite).

Saranno ritenute valide le QSL confermate dopo la data del 1 gennaio 1973.

The Italian Radio Amateur Association (A.R.I.) institutes the Diploma Guglielmo Marconi, in order to commemorate and to emphasize the work of the great scientist.

This diploma celebrates the most significant documented experiments carried out by Marconi in several parts of the world.

The diploma will be conferred free of charge to those who will demonstrate to have connected (or to have listened to) the places from which Marconi carried out such experiments.

In order to obtain it, it is necessary to send to the A.R.I. - Department of Bologna, a log containing all details of the QSO, or of the listening reports and in addition: 40 QSL of the mentioned localities, or 35 QSL of the mentioned localities, in addition to the official QSL of the memorial station IY4FGM and an other QSL of one of the other memorial stations, for an amount of 37 cards.

On the log it is necessary to clearly specify the city, region or locality in question. For the restitution of cards, it is sufficient to enclose the money necessary for return by mail, otherwise the cards will be sent back via bureau.

The diploma can be obtained in the following emission modes:

SSB, CW, RTTY, SSTV or mixed.

There are no limitations as regards the bands use (among those attributed to us).

The QSL confirmed after the date of 1 January 1973 will be considered valid.

Il Diploma sarà rilasciato a chi dimostrerà di avere effettuato collegamenti bilaterali (o ascolti di collegamenti bilaterali) con le località (stati, regioni o città) di seguito indicate o con stazioni commemorative marconiane.

Il Diploma è rilasciato dall’Associazione Radioamatori Italiani ed è gratuito.

Per ottenerlo sarà necessario inviare all’A.R.I. - Sezione di Bologna, cui è stata affidata la gestione, un log contenente tutti i dettagli dei QSO o dei rapporti d’ascolto ed inoltre:

50 QSL di collegamenti confermati dalle località indicate, oppure

40 QSL di collegamenti confermati dalle località indicate più la QSL della stazione commemorativa IY4FGM (Fondazione G. Marconi, stazione operativa dalla Villa Griffone, luogo ove avvenne il primo esperimento di radiocomunicazioni) e altre nove QSL di stazioni commemorative marconiane, sempre per un totale di 50 cartoline.

Le QSL dovranno evidenziare chiaramente il country, regione o città secondo quanto richiesto dall'elenco allegato.

Saranno considerate accreditabili le QSL delle stazioni commemorative marconiane indicanti chiaramente un riferimento ad un particolare evento delle attività di G.MARCONI.

Per la restituzione delle QSL si raccomanda di allegare il necessario per il ritorno postale raccomandato, in caso contrario le cartoline saranno restituite al mittente via bureau.

Il Diploma può essere richiesto, a partire dal 1° gennaio 1995, nei seguenti modi d’emissione: 2xSSB, 2xCW, 2xRTTY o misto.

Saranno ritenuti validi i collegamenti bilaterali effettuati nelle bande assegnate al servizio radioamatoriale a partire dal 1°gennaio 1994.

The Italian Radio Amateur Association (A.R.I.) institutes the D.G.M. "C", in order to commemorate and to emphasize the universal work of the Great Inventor, on the occasion of the centenary of the first experiments on radio communication happened in the spring - summer of 1895.

This diploma celebrates, by radio connections with places situated in several parts of the world, the most significant experiments carried out by G. Marconi.

The Diploma will be conferred to the people who will demonstrate to have carried out bilateral connections (or listenings of bilateral connections) with the localities (countries, regions or cities) indicated in the following or with marconian memorial stations.

The Diploma is conferred by the Italian Radio Amateur Association and is free.

In order to obtain it, it will be necessary to send to the A.R.I. - Department of Bologna, which has been entrusted with the management, a log containing all the details of the QSO or of the listening reports, and moreover:

50 QSL of confirmed connections with the indicated localities, or

40 QSL of confirmed connections with the indicated localities, in addition to the QSL of the memorial station IY4FGM (G. Marconi Foundation, station operating from the Villa Griffone, place where the first experiments of radio communications were performed) and other nine QSL of marconian memorial stations, for an amount of 50 cards.

The QSL will have to clearly specify the country, region or city as requested in the enclosed list.

The QSL of the marconian memorial stations clearly indicating a reference to a particular event of G.MARCONI activities will be considered trustworthy.

For the QSL restitution it is recommended to enclose what is necessary for the registered return mail, otherwise the cards will be sent back via bureau.

The Diploma can be requested, beginning from 1st January 1995, in the following emission modes: 2xSSB, 2xCW, 2xRTTY or mixed.

The bilateral connections carried out in the bands assigned to the Radio Amateur service will be considered valid beginning from 1st January 1994.
